  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey (93% fat free or higher)
  • 6 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sliced olives (green)
  • 1/2 cup raisins (dark or golden)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Spray a skillet with pan spray and heat over medium heat. Add onions, green pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  • Step 2: Add ground turkey and cook, breaking the meat apart, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 3: Lower heat and stir in tomato sauce, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add olives and raisins and cook another minute until they are heated through.
