"This is a flavorful seasoning to use in any recipe calling for Creole Seasoning. Anyone cooking Cajun or Creole uses it. Some people can't find it at the store so I wanted to post this here so everyone can make Cajun and Creole dishes and experiment with it, because it is a really great seasoning on so many things. Use as you would salt on your meats, poultry, fish and vegetables."

This is a great clone of the original Tony's and I love it. I mixed it up one day to use with your recipe for Gopher's Breading For Deep Fried Catfish. It is an excellent spice that you can use in place of Tony's and is less expensive and easy to mix up to have on hand for when you need a cajun spice. I like that you can control the sodium. Too much salt isn't good!

I made this to use in some oven fried catfish and it is great! I made half the first time to make sure we were going to like it and next time I will make a full recipe.

A few of the recipes I wanted to try had this seasoning and instead of buying it my wife wanted to make it so that she did. She halved the recipe and it still made a large amount to have on hand. I see us using this frequently and it really adds a great flavor to the recipes I have tried it on. It has a little spiciness but not hot unless you get real heavy handed and like it that way. This will be a standard spice in my house from here on out. We love it that much!

I love Tony's and this is even better, if that's possible! I used it on chicken on the grill and it was enjoyed by all. I use this all the time and I think I am addicted to it, so I will be using the rest of it up in some potato salad and on some ribs and pork too. It is good on just about anything if you like to spice up your food. Thank you for sharing this with us Luv! Linda

This is much better than the store bought stuff. I used this to season steamed mixed vegetables and loved the flavours!!! Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game.
