"I am also embarrassed to post this because it is so easy. I have no claim to this recipe - in fact, I found it in a small cook book probably 20 years ago. I have seen it on both the Pace (salsa) site as well as the Campbell's so I'm sure that is where it originated. But, it is still so good and so easy. I have lightened it up by using turkey and a low fat cheese; but otherwise it is 4 ingredients and cooks in 15 minutes. These are wonderful served as sliders as well."

Step 1

Turkey ... Saute the turkey (or beef if that is what you choose) in a saute pan with the olive oil.

Step 2

Sauce and Serve ... Once the turkey is done, add the salsa and soup and heat through. Add the cheese, lightly stir the cheese into the meat mixture; and serve on your favorite rolls. If you decide to add the olives, add them right at the end along with the cheese. They add a nice flavor. ENJOY!

This was made on 12/23 for mine and my SO's dinner, and most importantly made for the " Alphabet Soup Recipe Tag " game. :) Except for omitting the olives this recipe was made as it was written, even right down to using the ground turkey. Instead of going the traditional route by using buns,it was served over fries. To both of us,the taste was a little off. Maybe because it was made with turkey instead of beef. This recipe is worth repeating, but I think the next time with ground beef. " Keep Smiling :) "
