Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; stir 30 seconds.

Step 2

Stir in ketchup and all remaining ingredients, except salt and pepper.

Step 3

Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer until reduced to 1 1/3 cups, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Cool slightly, cover, and chill for up to one week.
