Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°.

Step 2

In a shallow bowl mix the first 6 ingredients.

Step 3

Place butter in a separate shallow bowl.

Step 4

Dip chicken in butter, then roll in crumb mixture to coat; press to adhere.

Step 5

Place chicken in a foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

Step 6

Bake until a thermometer inserted into the chicken reads 165°, about 15 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time.

We really enjoyed the flavor of these chicken strips...I did notice that after turning them and letting them cook the bottom was moist so I let them cook a bit more to crisp them up...but once again the bottom was moist...next time I think I'll turn on the broiler to crisp both sides a bit...I dipped them in cilantro chili "Bitchn Sauce"...made for "Billboard" tag game...
