"This is out of my old WW cookbook called 123 Success Recipe Collection, dated 1997. It was only 1 point on the old program. This side dish is packed with flavor and color. Serve it with chicken breasts marinated in a teriyaki-soy mixture for a speedy, delicious supper.""

I only used a half pound of beans, decided to use water chestnuts, but made the full amount of sauce. The sauce really jazzed things up.It's thickens nicely to enrobe the green beans. I also added it to another noodle dish that night too. The sauce does have a fairly strong tang from the vinegar. I may try rice vinegar next time. Either way I'll be making this one again!

Daily Inspiration

This is a really delicious way to serve green beans and it had just the right amount of heat. I served it alongside some orange ginger chicken and they really made a great meal.
