"I got this one from AllRecipes.com, but it was originally intended for pork chops so I had to alter it to suit the tenderloins we had. Also based on reviews there I adjusted the amount of the seasonings, and it is nothing short of amazing. Probably it would work roasting them as well, but I did it in a skillet on the stove."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, basil and chili powder.

Step 2

Gradually mix in 2 tablespoons olive oil, mix well until syrupy.

Step 3

Rinse and pat dry tenderloins; heat remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Spread brown sugar mixture over the tenderloins and place them in the skillet.

Step 5

Cook for about 40 minutes or until just barely pink in the center, turning about every 8-10 minutes.
