Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Grease muffin tins and heat the pan for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Beat the eggs; add the milk, oil and salt.

Step 4

Add the flour and beat until smooth. Pour batter evenly into hot popover pan.

Step 5

Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6

Serve with butter.

These really do stay popped, at least for the brief period of time they stay around. I thought we'd have some left, but the three of us scarfed the entire dozen. My son particularly loved them.

Wonderful popovers which worked out perfectly! I used a popover pan, so only made 6 popovers - but they were huge! Delicious with butter and served with stew. Thanks for sharing!
