Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine sweet potatoes, oil, spices and salt, and mix together until fries are evenly coated.

Step 3

Spread fries out in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.

Step 4

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until crispy on 1 side.

Step 5

Turn fries using tongs or spatula and cook for another 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Oh my...love the spice & heat! I used small yams and weighed them to a pound and sliced in thick wedges. The two of us hoovered through it all and DH was so happy. Thank you for sharing another keeper Teresa! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

Teresa, we loved the sweet potato fries prepared this way. They were quick and really easy to make. I slice the potatoes to thin. Next time, I will make them thicker. They didn't look pretty, but boy did they taste good. Thank you for sharing a recipe that we will enjoy again and again. Made FYC tag game.

Daily Inspiration

Loved, loved, loved these roasted sweet potatoes. This is my favorite way to make them and the spices were right on. Will be making them again soon.
