Southwestern Style Ramen Noodles
"The idea for this recipe was found in one of my many cookbooks.I found an egg noodle recipe,but didn't have some of the ingredients that it called for,so I improvised.The recipe is about as far away from Southwestern as it can be,but I think it's pretty good.If you feel like garnishing the top with chopped green onions, go for it. ;)Posted to " ZAZZ " on 2/2/15. Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large 10 inch skillet over medium heat,crumble ground beef into skillet and add onion.
Step 2
Sprinkle garlic and chili powder over beef/onion mixture and cook until meat is browned and onion is tender.
Step 3
While beef is browning,crumble noodles and cook according to package directions then drain and set aside.
Step 4
After beef has browned drain and return to skillet then add drained corn and mix well.
Step 5
Add drained noodles and seasoning packet to meat/corn mixture mixing until everything is well coated.
Step 6
Turn off heat and sprinkle with cheese and cover with lid and let set just for a couple of minutes or until cheese is slightly melted.
