Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (3 ounce) ramen noodles (beef flavored, SAVE seasoning packet)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 can (11 ounce) whole kernel corn (with peppers, a.k.a. Mexicorn, drained)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large 10 inch skillet over medium heat,crumble ground beef into skillet and add onion.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle garlic and chili powder over beef/onion mixture and cook until meat is browned and onion is tender.

  • Step 3: While beef is browning,crumble noodles and cook according to package directions then drain and set aside.

  • Step 4: After beef has browned drain and return to skillet then add drained corn and mix well.

  • Step 5: Add drained noodles and seasoning packet to meat/corn mixture mixing until everything is well coated.

  • Step 6: Turn off heat and sprinkle with cheese and cover with lid and let set just for a couple of minutes or until cheese is slightly melted.
