Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F, and grease a 2-quart baking dish.

Step 2

Slice tops off of peppers and remove seeds and membranes,if desired blanch peppers in boiling water.

Step 3

Set peppers in prepared dish.

Step 4

Cook sausage and garlic powder until sausage is browned and drain.

Step 5

In a medium bowl combine half of the French Onions,and the remaining ingredients mixing well.

Step 6

Evenly divide sausage/rice mixture into the peppers.

Step 7

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes or until peppers are tender and filling is hot.

Step 8

Remove cover; top with remaining onions and bake 10 minutes more.
