Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat drained beets in microwave for a minute.
Step 2
Sauce: Heat butter and add salt and orange zest.
Step 3
Add flour and cook a minute.
Step 4
Add reserved 1/4 cup beet juice and whisk.
Step 5
Add orange juice and whisk.
Step 6
Cook until thickened.
Step 7
Add beets and cream, but don't boil.
Step 8
Serve very hot.
