Step 1

Combine the milk, honey, almond butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, and any optional spices in a small saucepan.

Step 2

Heat over medium heat until warmed through, whisking briskly so that the almond butter does not stick to the bottom and the spices incorporate. Do not let boil. Pour into a mug and sip deeply. Go to bed and have a restful night....zzzzzzzzzzz.

This is so good! I skipped the almond butter but otherwise made as directed using coconut milk. I did add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top -- so good! Thanks for sharing!

Oh my this is gonna be addicting! It tasted like a really wonderful spicy chai, but there's no tea. This is going in my best of file! I added 1/16 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom. I feel so happy. (✷‿✷)
