"This is so easy and so tasty. A lovely cold appetizer. If you are not a spice lover cut back on the jalapeno & hot sauce but you will be taking away a lot of the flavour. If you like, instead of the bread use crackers like Nabisco wheatabix, rice crackers, Melba rounds or bagel chips. Prepare the spread ahead of time but if you are using any kind of cracker only spread on the cheese mixture just before serving so they stay crisp. The number of appetizers of course, depends on the size of the oysters and number in each can."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cut the toasted bread into different shapes, 6 pieces per slice.
Step 2
Mix together cream cheese, cilantro, lime juice, jalapeno & hot sauce.
Step 3
Spread the cheese mixture on each toast piece.
Step 4
Drain the oysters well on a paper towel.
Step 5
Pop an oyster on each toast piece
Step 6
Sprinkle red onion & serve.
