"Easy way to make mac and cheese without using the oven and baking it! Of course use salt and pepper to taste! I have even stirred in a drained can of rotel and that was delicious! This is my hubbies favorite mac and cheese."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook macaroni in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt butter, when melted stir in the flour. Continue to stir until smooth, around 1 minute.
Step 3
Gradually add the cream or milk and bring to slow simmer. It will thicken up.
Step 4
Reduce heat and stir in the velveeta until melted.
Step 5
Add macaroni and stir until all the macaroni is covered with the cheesy sauce. Salt and pepper to taste! If you let it sit for 3-4 minutes before serving it really thickens up nicely.Serve!
