Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup half and half cream (can use heavy whipping cream, infact that is really yummy or just regular milk)
  • 3/4 pound Velveeta cheese processed cheese, cubed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook macaroni in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt butter, when melted stir in the flour. Continue to stir until smooth, around 1 minute.

  • Step 3: Gradually add the cream or milk and bring to slow simmer. It will thicken up.

  • Step 4: Reduce heat and stir in the velveeta until melted.

  • Step 5: Add macaroni and stir until all the macaroni is covered with the cheesy sauce. Salt and pepper to taste! If you let it sit for 3-4 minutes before serving it really thickens up nicely.Serve!
