"For roughly the last 8 mo, we've been enjoying the wonders of Costco shopping. 1 of my most recent happy finds was Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix (an add water & you're good-to-go kitchen miracle). As my profile intro says, I'm not a food snob & I favor convenience foods that save me time & let me be creative. This recipe was found at the Krusteaz website & was credited to Christi Johnstone at lovefromtheovendotcom as the author. This is the 2nd in my series of Krusteaz recipes to share w/you & I entered it as written. This is definitely a family-friendly recipe, but IMO would also be an excellent brunch buffet item on holiday occasions. ENJOY!"

Step 1

Stir pancake mix & water together w/a whisk. Batter will be slightly lumpy. Do not over-mix.

Step 2

Pour slightly more than 1/8 of a cup batter per pancake (2 tablespoons). A sml cookie scoop is great for creating silver dollar pancakes of approx 3-in diameter. Cook at least 14 pancakes. Cook pancakes approx 45 seconds to 1 min per side, turning once.

Step 3

Assemble sliders using 2 pancakes, 1 sausage patty, 1 egg & 1 slice of cheese (if using) per slider. Serve w/maple syrup on the side for dipping if desired.
