"These biscuits are originally from an old Betty Crocker cookbook that my mom had I think. They are really yummy, and especially good with butter and jelly on top, with a nice mug of hot chocolate! Mom used to fix these a lot on Sunday nights, after having a huge dinner. Just something to snack on with our hot chocolate... Fond memories for me for sure.. These are great for Strawberry Shortcake too!"

I have now made these many times. Each time we enjoy them no matter what we have with them. Great with soups and stews and I have added a little sugar and used them for Strawberry and Blueberry Shortcakes. My favorite way is to have them with morning flavored coffees and I use butter and all kinds of jams and jellys. Yummy!

My dad came over for dinner and I had made a beef stew, so I made these biscuits to go with it. We both loved them! I froze the ones that were left in individual baggies and took them out of the freezer as needed for toasted biscuits, to have with beef and gravy, and to have in Strawberry Shortcake. Love them!

These biscuits are so easy to prepare and they turned out golden brown on the top and tender and delicious inside. I made these on New Years day and they were a great addition to my New Years tradition of collard greens, Hoppin John, ribs and another of your recipes for Ippy's Corn Pudding. I will make these when I want a good biscuit!
