Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt (scant)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup shortening (Crisco)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together, and roll out into a floured surface, to about 1/2" thick.

  • Step 2: Use a round cutter, or glass dipped in flour, to cut out biscuits.

  • Step 3: Place on a greased pan, and bake at 450 degrees, for about 12-15 minutes, our until brown on top.
