Step 1
Microwave green beans according to package directions for 3 minutes (or steam until almost done but not fully done). To a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sauté beans, with salt, and pepper, and lemon zest until beans are hot and cooked tender-crisp, 2 to 3 minutes (NOTE: make sure if you cook it longer than 2 minutes, to add the lemon zest towards the end because you don't want to burn off and lose all that good vibrant flavor of the lemon zest). Squeeze lemon half over beans, and serve immediately.
