Step by Step Method
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in Warm water.
Step 2
Add buttermilk, eggs, 2 1/2 cup flour, butter, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix till smooth.

Add enough remaining dough to make dough easily handled. Dough will remain soft and slightly sticky.

Turn out onto well floured surface and knead 5 minutes.

Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and dip into butter.

Combine sugar and cinnamon.
Step 7
Roll dough balls into cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Step 8
Place dough balls in a greased tube pan.
Step 9
Let rise until doubled.
Step 10
Bake at 375 60 minutes.
Step 11
If browning too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.
Step 12
Invert pan onto plate so syrup can drizzle over cake.
Step 13
To serve break apart with 2 forks.
