Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan melt butter. Add garlic cook for 1 minute. and bring to a boil. Mix in cream, then gradually whisk in the Parmesan. Add the parsley, salt and pepper and stir until well combined and heated until hot.

Step 2

Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add a splash of oil to stop the pasta from sticking and cook the fettuccine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Drain well and toss with the cream sauce. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan on the side.

Quick and delicious all done in less than 1/2 hour - put water on to boil for the pasta and prepped and cooked in the 14 minutes it took to boil the pasta, I did scale the recipe back for 1 serve but when I make the next time I will use less pasta as I could not get through it all but definitely one of my quick go to meals especially as I usually have all the ingredient on hand. Thank you mom4, made for Alphabet Tag Game at FF&F.
