Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves, garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)
  • 2 1/4 cups fresh grated parmesan cheese, and more to serve
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 pound dried fettuccini pasta
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a heavy-bottomed saucepan melt butter. Add garlic cook for 1 minute. and bring to a boil. Mix in cream, then gradually whisk in the Parmesan. Add the parsley, salt and pepper and stir until well combined and heated until hot.

  • Step 2: Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add a splash of oil to stop the pasta from sticking and cook the fettuccine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Drain well and toss with the cream sauce. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan on the side.
