"This was originally received from another food website by Jockey on June 27, 2006. I keep this recipe posted on the inside of my cupboard. This is a simple, good italian bread recipe. I chose it because it doesn't take many ingredients and the fat content is relatively low. Sometimes I will just use the dough cycle and then re shape it and bake on a stone."

KC I am so glad this recipe is here! this has been made by me nearly 100 times. It is my go to bread weekly. Sometimes I throw in some herbs or cheese to change it up depending on what's for dinner but more often then not made as written. We love it!

This was great. I was concerned at first becuase it did not seem to rise much but it tasted great, was not too dense or anything and the crust was awesome and crispy. My kids fought over the "elbows" or ends. Thank you! A definite keeper. I just might hang it inside my cupboard door too.
