"A KC favorite! I used to make this very often, my family loves this as an alternative to pizza, use your own favorite pizza sauce for this, I have one posted on this site and have fun using different toppings!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Set oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
Set oven rack to second-lowest position.
Step 3
Grease a 9 x 9-inch baking pan or an 11 x 7-inch pan.
Step 4
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, flour and milk until smooth.
Step 5
Stir in onion, butter, salt and cayenne.
Step 6
Pour mixture into prepared baking pan.
Step 7
Gently drizzle pizza sauce over the batter, then cut in with a knife to produce a marbled effect (reserve a couple of tablespoons of sauce for the top of the pizza puff).
Step 8
Sprinkle pepperoni or salami and the bell peppers and whatever else you would like to use such as mushrooms, onions etc over the sauce; dot with a little more sauce over the cheese (this is optional).
Step 9
Top with mozzarella cheese.
Step 10
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 11
Cool 5 minutes before serving.
