Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place butter into a medium saucepan and melt it over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla.
Step 2
Place confectioners' sugar into a large mixing bowl, mix in chopped peanuts (if you are using them). Pour hot peanut butter mixture over confectioners’ sugar and beat until smooth.
Step 3
Pour fudge into an 8x8 inch inch pan.
Step 4
Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
Step 5
Cut into 1-inch squares.
