Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup butter (this will not work well with margarine)
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter (I use reduced sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional, I add them in)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place butter into a medium saucepan and melt it over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla.

  • Step 2: Place confectioners' sugar into a large mixing bowl, mix in chopped peanuts (if you are using them). Pour hot peanut butter mixture over confectioners’ sugar and beat until smooth.

  • Step 3: Pour fudge into an 8x8 inch inch pan.

  • Step 4: Chill until firm, about 1 hour.

  • Step 5: Cut into 1-inch squares.
