Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine first 5 ingredients until smooth.

Step 2

Press into a buttered 9x13 inch pan.

Step 3

Spread melted chocolate chips over mixture.

Step 4

Refrigerate until firm.

Step 5

Warm slightly to room temperature, and cut into squares. (Chocolate will not crack when slightly warm).

We made these candy cups to fill up my dh's candy dish. He is coming home from being in the hospital for 2 weeks, so my grandchildren and I decided to make some candy to sweeten him up! Grumpy is going to love these!

I did an added step on these. I poured chocolate into the cups and let it harden, then added the filling. Then poured chocolate over the top. Made for my dad's stocking. All this chocolate is going to make him a very happy man!

I used chunky peanut butter for that nutty effect and we simply love these. I gave them as part of a Halloween bag to all the kids that came to our Halloween party a few days ago. I see us making these for the holidays. Thank you!
