Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix butter, sugar, and egg thoroughly. Stir in orange juice and rind.
Step 2
Add baking powder, soda and salt and stir. Blend in flour.
Step 3
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet(s).
Step 4
Bake 8-10 minutes or until delicately browned on edges in preheated 400' oven.

Cool cookies and frost:

Blend butter and sugar, then stir in orange juice and rind till smooth. Apply to cookies with spatula.
