Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Spray or lightly grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
Step 2
Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Step 3
Mix egg, milk and vegetable oil until well combined, and stir into dry ingredients. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes. (18 is good for my oven) or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
