Mocha Marmalade Shortbread Bars
"I got this from Sunset Magazine. The coffee-flavored crust is baked and then spread with marmalade and melted chocolate. Times don't include cooling and chilling time."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325° Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Beat butter and sugar together until smooth. Beat in egg yolk.
Step 3
Combine flour, coffee, baking powder and salt. Stir into butter mixture and mix until well-blended.
Step 4
Press mixture into the bottom of a 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Step 5
Spread marmalade over warm crust. Let cool completely.
Step 6
Place chocolate and cream in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Heat, stirring often, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Step 7
Spread chocolate over marmalade layer and chill until chocolate is firm to the touch, about 30 minutes.
