"This recipe is for a Duncan Hines mix, you can substitute any marble mix though, just follow the directions on the box and use what that mix calls for in terms of water (use coffee), oil, and eggs The icing uses a Betty Crocker icing mix, but again it can be substituted for another icing mix, just use hot coffee in place of the water added to mix"

Step 1
Heat oven to 350.
Step 2
Grease and flour 13x9x2, or layer pans.
Step 3
Follow directions on package to mix cake, adding instant coffee, and substituting cold coffee for the water.
Step 4
Bake 25 - 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 5
Follow directions on icing mix, substituting hot coffee for the hot water, beat till stiff peaks and spreadable. Fold in chocolate pieces.
Step 6
Frost cake.
