"As a lot of you know, I do my best to use leftovers in every possible way. This photo was taken sometime back(about 3 years ago). Whatever meatloaf and cheese you use is strictly up to you. That's one of the good things about this recipe you can make it your own,and another good thing you use leftovers.The time it takes to warm the meatloaf is included in the cook time. Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

Unroll crescent dough and divide into 4 squares,making sure to seal perforations.

Step 3

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 7 inch square(It doesn't have to be perfect,as long as you can fold it over the meatloaf it's o.k.)

Step 4

In the center of the dough,place a slice of cheese and top with a warmed slice of meatloaf.

Step 5

Fold dough over meatloaf and seal.

Step 6

Place meatloaf wrapped dough,sealed side down on to parchment lined baking sheet.

Step 7

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until crescent roll dough is golden brown.

This is really an excellent way to revive your leftover meatloaf. We loved how it turned out. This will definitely be made again. I'm going to try adding a touch of parmesan next go-round to see how it comes out or possibly topping the meatloaf with some barbecue sauce before covering with the dough.
