Step by Step Method
Step 1
Prepare macaroni per package directions; drain and return to saucepan and keep warm.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 3
Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Step 4
In a sauce pan heat the next 5 ingredients (- cayenne pepper) to boiling. Reduce heat and whisk in the cheddar cheese until smooth. Pour sauce over the macaroni along with tomatoes and onion, stirring to combine.
Step 5
Pour all in the prepared baking dish.
Step 6
In a small bowl combine the parmesan and bread crumbs; stir in the oil. Sprinkle over the macaroni mixture.
Step 7
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until edges are bubbly and top is golden brown.
