"This is similar to bakery frosting and so much better than any canned! --- for extra fluffy frosting use heavy cream and make certain to beat for at least 3-5 minutes and remember to sift the confectioners sugar before using. For flavor and color you can add 1-2 envelopes 3-grams each, Duncan Hines Frosting Creations Flavor Mix, any flavor desired -- and for extra fluffy creamy frosting mix in some thawed Cool Whip frozen topping, starting with 1/4 cup adding in more until you reach your desired consistancy"

Your recipes are spot on though so turn to them. added my changes for recipe and my gall bladder requirements. Used for an a almond cake I had filled with lemon pie filling so used some of the pie filling, halved the margarine only used butter and for Crisco halved that but used butter flavored Crisco. since added the pie filling had to increase the confectioners sugar but all and all it was wonderful and people love the recipes I glean from you. Oh because of the additional pie filling I had to increase the confectioners sugar

I quartered the recipe then added 2 tablespoons of cream cheese for Cream Cheese Frosting... The frosting was fabulous, and perfect for an 8x8" single layer cake. With the addition of the cream cheese it wasn't quite as thick, but the flavor was perfect, fluffy and light. One of the best frostings I have ever tasted, and sweet but not that sugary sweet that I don't like... I would give this more than 5 stars if I could!

This frosting is totally delicious. I used it to frost some cupcakes and found it was just a bit too soft after piping on the cupcakes. In the future I will just use less cream cause the taste is fabulous as is. Thanks for sharing Kitten.
