"Kelly O'Bryan's is in Kelowna, BC. Originally this sauce was served with waffle fries and melted cheese on top with a drizzle of the sauce. It originally was served with waffle fries and melted cheese with the sauce poured over it all. I like it over greens. This would be wonderful on EVERYTHING! There is no cook time."

  • For a more tangy flavor, increase the amount of vinegar.
  • Use a good quality salad dressing for the best flavor.

  • Substitute maple syrup for the sugar (or honey) - This substitution will add a subtle, sweet flavor to the sauce, while also providing a slightly healthier option than sugar.
  • Substitute dijon mustard for the yellow mustard - This substitution will add a more complex flavor to the sauce and a bit of a kick, while still providing the same mustard-y flavor.

Vegan Emerald Isle Sauce/Dressing Substitute the Miracle Whip with vegan mayonnaise, and omit the honey or sugar.

Grilled Vegetable Skewers with Emerald Isle Sauce/Dressing - This dish is a great way to enjoy the Emerald Isle Sauce/Dressing. The grilled vegetables will bring out the flavor of the sauce and the sweetness of the honey or sugar will be a great complement to the vegetables. It's a great way to enjoy a light and healthy meal.

Irish Soda Bread: Irish Soda Bread is a great accompaniment to the Grilled Vegetable Skewers with Emerald Isle Sauce/Dressing. The sweetness of the bread will balance out the savory flavors of the grilled vegetables and the sauce. It's also a great way to add some texture and heartiness to the meal.

I have yet to try this over the greens but was great as a dressing over my coleslaw. Served over coleslaw makings, celery, green onion and half a diced apple, delicious. Looking forward to drizzling this over my dinner salads! Definitely added to my Salad Dressing Cookbook! Another Luvcooken winner!
