Step by Step Method
Step 1
Put shortening in skillet
Step 2
Lightly fry green peppers, onion and ground beef for 3 minutes or until partially done.

Salt and pepper to taste

Remove from heat

Stir in eggs and mix well.
Step 6
Place 1 cup corn in casserole.
Step 7
Top with layer of meat mixture and layer of sliced tomatoes.
Step 8
Repeat until corn, meat mixture and tomatoes are used.
Step 9
Cover casserole with crumbs.
Step 10
Dot with bits of butter.
Step 11
Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour or until heated thoroughly.
