"I feel like I'm becoming the sandwich queen, since I fix sandwiches for two hungry men everyday. Fortunately I have the luxury of serving hot sandwiches, since they're out and about on the farm. They like variety, so I try to change it up everyday. They both really liked this one."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Open buns and place on large cookie sheet. Spread bottom with dijon and top with mayonnaise.

Step 2

Put salami and onion on each sandwich, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with spices and top with provolone.

Step 3

Place open faced sandwiches and tops (mayo side up) under broiler until cheese is melted. Watch to make sure they don't burn.

Step 4

Add lettuce and place top back on sandwich. Serve hot.
