Step 1: Open buns and place on large cookie sheet. Spread bottom with dijon and top with mayonnaise.
Step 2: Put salami and onion on each sandwich, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with spices and top with provolone.
Step 3: Place open faced sandwiches and tops (mayo side up) under broiler until cheese is melted. Watch to make sure they don't burn.
Step 4: Add lettuce and place top back on sandwich. Serve hot.
