"Rich and creamy eggnog. A holiday favorite I use pasteurized eggs in a carton. Make sure it is not flavoured and that it is whole eggs, and not just egg whites. I also use freshly grated nutmeg. Cook time is chill time."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In large bowl beat eggs until light and foamy.

Step 2

Add sugar and salt and beat till thick and lemon colored.

Step 3

Add rum and cream.

Step 4

Chill at least 3 hours.

Step 5

Just before serving sprinkle with nutmeg.
