Step 1

In medium bowl, combine turkey, oats, green onion, chili pepper, egg, pepper and 1 tablespoon of oil and shape into 24 small meatballs (about 1 tablespoon each).

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large, nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs 10 minutes or until no longer pink in center, turning frequently. (For better control, use two utensils, such as a fork and a spoon, to turn the meatballs easily.)

Step 3

Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir together hoisin sauce, bourbon and sugar.

Step 4

Pour hoisin mixture over meatballs in skillet and cook 15 seconds, stirring gently until well coated.

Step 5

Serve with wooden picks.

What a tasty meatball...I ended up with 19 small ones...I loved that the hubby didn't know it was turkey meat...what a pleasant surprise when I added the glaze to the pan and it caramelized immediately and the little meatballs absorbed all the deliciousness...this is so good that it's made it's way onto my best of 2022 list...made for "FYC" tag game...
