Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Cupcakes:

Mix wet ingredients, then add sifted dry ingredients until well blended.

Fill cupcake tins half way.

Bake for 18 minutes.

Once done, cool on wire rack.

Frosting:

Cream butter.

Add powdered sugar, vanilla, cocoa, milk a little bit at a time. (You want to be able to pipe the frosting).

Whipped Buttercream Frosting:

To make it Whipped Buttercream Frosing, you have to mix the frosting with an electric mixer, on high speed, for about 3 minutes.

Step 12

Place frosting in your piping bag, then frost cupcakes.

Good and easy - we skipped the frosting though and used regular flour. We made 23 cupcakes -- enough for dinner and some for the freezer. Thanks for sharing!
