Gram's Pecan Pie
"This is the pecan pie recipe printed on the back of the Karo syrup bottle from the 1950s. I grew up with this pecan pie and it remains my favorite. Nothing fancy about this pecan pie. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Beat the eggs lightly
Step 2
Add remaining ingredients, except pecans and beat until foamy.
Step 3
Stir in pecan halves. You may coarsely chop pecans if you prefer.

Pour into 9" pastry lined pie plate
Step 5
Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees or until set and pastry is nicely browned.
Step 6
Let cool before serving.
