"I had to post this, as it is simple, yet very effective. If we take this at first sign of sickness, it rarely sticks around. And this year, so far, the kids haven't missed ANY school due to illness. Our youngest is 8 and we all take 1 T up to 3 times a day."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Simmer (on very low heat) all ingredients, except honey for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Strain ingredients out and press well, to get liquid out. You can dry these and reuse again 1-2 times.
Step 3
Let cool a few minutes, then add the honey and stir until dissolved.
Step 4
Put in a glass jar (canning jar is good) and keep in the refrigerator.
