Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray and add sausage, beef, and garlic; cook 4 minutes or until meat is browned, stirring frequently to crumble.

Step 3

Stir in marinara sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring just to a simmer. Remove from heat. Stir in frozen ravioli; toss to combine.

Step 4

Coat an 8 inch square broiler-safe glass or ceramic baking dish with cooking spray. Spoon the ravioli mixture into the pan; top evenly with mozzarella cheese.

Step 5

Cover the dish tightly with foil coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle evenly with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.

Step 6

I used ground turkey & spicy Italian sausage and a chunky marinara. I mixed this up early in the day and baked later. It worked perfectly for our needs and I think it will be a nice option to use when needing to drop off a casserole for others. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Relatively easy, with great taste. Like another reviewer, I also skipped the sausage and used more ground meat instead. In addition, I added about 3 times the sauce, just because that is what I had on hand. It came out really yummy though, wasn't too saucy for us. Definitely a make again!

This really is easy...and it's delicious...taste just like the regular time consuming lasagna...the only change I made was using four cheese ravioli...served it with a nice green salad and garlic bread...yum...made for "For Your Consideration" tag game...

Very good and easy! We used cheese ravioli, skipped the sausage but used 8 ounces of ground beef. Thanks for sharing! I made this again -- this time using the 4 ounces ground beef and the whole package of Italian sausage and more cheese -- delicious and worthy of 5 stars!
