Step by Step Method
Step 1
In large microwave-safe bowl, place butter and peanut butter. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture begins to bubble; stir. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2 additional minutes.
Step 2
Stir in vanilla (mixture will bubble up). Stir in sugar; stir until thick and well blended. Spoon mixture evenly into pan sprayed with vegetable pan spray or cookie cutter; smooth surface.
Step 3
If desired, sprinkle peanuts over top; gently press into surface of candy. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until set.
