Easy Bisquick Danish
"While searching for a recipe to use up my excess amount of Bisquick I came accross this one and tryed it, although it really doesn't taste anything like a Danish it really is not bad at all! careful only to mix 15-16 strokes, these get quite dark on the bottom so make sure to set you rack up to the second-lowest position"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to second-lowest position. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Step 2
In a medium bowl mix the sugar with Bisquick until crumbly (I used my hands for mixing). Stir in milk until dough forms; beat 15-16 strokes. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto baking sheet. Make a shallow well in center of each danish. Fill the hole with 1 teaspoon preserves.
Step 4
Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden (watch closely these bake quickly!). While warm drizzle with glaze. Glaze: Beat together all ingredients until smooth.
Step 5
Meanwhile make the glaze by beating all ingredients together.
Step 6
While warm drizzle with glaze.
