Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to second-lowest position. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Step 2: In a medium bowl mix the sugar with Bisquick until crumbly (I used my hands for mixing). Stir in milk until dough forms; beat 15-16 strokes. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto baking sheet. Make a shallow well in center of each danish. Fill the hole with 1 teaspoon preserves.
Step 4: Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden (watch closely these bake quickly!). While warm drizzle with glaze. Glaze: Beat together all ingredients until smooth.
Step 5: Meanwhile make the glaze by beating all ingredients together.
Step 6: While warm drizzle with glaze.
