Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil (3-4 inches deep) in a fryer or pot, to 375°F.
Step 2
Combine 1 1/2 cup flour, and remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl
Step 3
Mix in remaining flour.
Step 4
Turn dough out onto well floured and cloth covered surface, roll to coat with flour.
Step 5
Gently roll dough to 3/8 inch thick and cut with doughnut cutter.
Step 6
Carefully slide doughnuts into hot oil and fry till golden brown on both sides.
Step 7
Drain on paper towel.
Step 8
Serve plain, sugared or frosted.
